About Me

I have been practicing astrology counseling and facilitating groups since 2006. I have been a decades-long student of dreamwork, astrology and psychology, with a passion for the depth psychology of C.G. Jung and his followers. I have been studying dreams since I was a pre-teen, and astrology since I was 18, when I was given my first book on AstroPsychology.  Since then, I have studied many varieties of astrological theory, such as Evolutionary Astrology and Archetypal Astrology,  and incorporate these into my readings. I have paralleled my astrology and psychology studies over the years with extensive, right-brain creative process-work trainings in painting from the unconscious (The Painting Experience) and in movement (Authentic Movement, Modern Dance). I am also a trained medicinal herbalist, working with herbs, aromatherapy and nutrition.

Like famed astrologer Carolyne Casey, I have a BA from Brown University (which attracts independent minds!). I later received regular and advanced training certificates from the Interchange Counseling Institute in San Francisco, completed a year-long training in group facilitation from The Circle Way/Peer Spirit program now based on Whidbey Island, WA, and also trained in Mind Body Skills through the Center for Mind Body Medicine based in Washington, D.C. My online group facilitation currently focuses on Spiritual Ecology, as well as tools and practices for moving through the multi-level crises our planet now faces with resilience and aliveness.

Last but certainly not least..

My parallel career as a writer/editor helps me ground and articulate my insights so that they can be easily absorbed and understood by clients with all levels of astrological knowledge.  Complimentary to these ‘left brain skills,’ my intuitive skills are well-developed through having been a student of the Naqshbandi Sufi meditation and dreamwork path with Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee since the early 1990s. All of this rests as a foundation for my great respect, love of, and trust in the healing and transforming powers of astrology!
